E+M Wedding

For their wedding, Elaine and Marcelo wanted to go largely paperless. The small number of invitations that were printed and tagged for "mail-out" were sent to family and friends from the older generation, whereas the e-vites went out to the clients' more tech-savvy friends.

Since the wedding was to take place at a camp site, Elaine and Marcelo really wanted their invitations to look and feel less formal. The inclusion of the illustration reflected their playful personalities, while the monogram's resemblance to a Chinese seal was an homage to their Asian heritage.

The e-vites were designed with a dual purpose: the recipients could either save the pdf on their phones/laptop, or they could do double-sided printing on their home computer and follow the attached paper-folding instructions.
